Who among us hasn’t come to the end of a racing weekend wishing we could’ve had just a bit more time to sharpen our skills from behind the wheel? Great news, now you can run virtually endless laps through the day and the night at this home in Gilbert, Arizona on your own personal go-kart track. You’ll just need somewhere around $20 million, but some of the stuff on this property almost makes it sound worth it.

Located at 21423 S 147th St, Gilbert, AZ 85298, just southeast of Phoenix, this mansion is perhaps the most normal part of a property that spans some 4.35 acres. The main house features natural wood flooring, five bedrooms, and six bathrooms across more than 9,300 square feet of space. Two of those bedrooms are master bedrooms. How do you end up with two master bedrooms? Be insanely rich or maybe on the way to a divorce. Or both!

Either way, it also happens to have a two-story closet, a shower with an integrated aquarium, and no fewer than three separate fireplaces. As a home on its own, this is an incredibly luxurious property. At the same time, we haven’t even talked about the spa building.

Separate from the main house is a near-4,000 sq ft day spa. Inside of it, you’ll find a sauna, a table shower, a massage room, a steam room, a cold plunge, and a hot tub. Why would anyone need such a place to rest and recuperate? Wouldn’t you love that after an entire day lapping your own go-kart track with five turns and a bridge?

The Track

The course, which I’m calling Clubman Stage 6, features fiveish turns starting with a hairpin mere meters from the finish line. That leads directly onto the back straight away and culminates in a hard 90-degree left turn that could be taken as two apexs.

It takes the drivers into a sweeping right-hand hairpin not too far afield from the shape of The Carousel. Finish that bend and you’ll see a pair of short sharp left-handers that could also be a single sweeping apex for those who prefer it. A bridge then leads to a gentle right and back onto the main straightaway. Seeing as it’s a private course, you could go backward for all we care.

It’s a tight but interesting course that beats anything I could fit in my backyard. The entire course has spring-backed bumper guards to help keep cars safely on the track. It even features a pit garage that doubles as a short covered section of the main course.

Track lighting allows for racing throughout the night. Heck, you could even host a 24-hour race at this house. Two natural-looking ponds are integrated into the edges of the course as well. Additional foliage appears throughout the property.

Other Play Areas

Somehow, the go-kart track might not even be the wildest part of this property, depending on your personal taste. For example, there’s a personal gun range here, too. It has not one but two stalls and an observation area. It’s part of the 6,000 sq ft “man cave” that also includes a putting green and a “cutting-edge” golf simulator. A private indoor batting cage provides one more way to hit a small ball with a club of sorts.

There’s also a full gym but this isn’t just a space for the super athletic. A four-station gaming area comes complete with surround-view monitors, every modern gaming console, and footrests. There’s even a dance studio, a covered outdoor dining area, and a fully covered and ventilated basketball court. It’s fully equipped with a digital scoreboard and stands.

Interested parties can find the home on Zillow where the estimated monthly payment is $117,950. That’s right, the cost of a brand new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with the stick shift, the carbon fiber 1 package, and the red accent package… every month.

Matt has assured me that, if 1,000,000 of you sign up for a Vinyl or better membership, we’ll buy this house as The Autopian Clubhouse and invite members over.

  1. There’s a lot to criticize in this home, but multiple primary bedroom/en-suite bedrooms is not one of them. My house has two and I purchased it because we’re a multi-generational household, my parents have one, I have the other. The previous owners had a similar living situation. It may not be common, but I’m glad it’s an option.

  2. How do you end up with two master bedrooms?

Keeping in mind that I am un-married but know many married people, by all accounts separate bedrooms are the best path to marital bliss for many couples. Many people struggle to sleep well when sharing a bed (snoring, incompatible sleep schedules, restless sleepers, etc.) and being sleep-deprived all the time is a great way to end a relationship.

Personally I’m a fan of the Hollywood couple that bought his and hers houses but then that might have something to do with why I’m still single. 😉
